Manage your notifications

Heartwork keeps you up to date on everything relevant to you — from approved time off requests to changes made by a colleague or HR admin.

Where do you find your notifications?

Click on Notifications in the left menu. You'll see a number next to the menu item when you have unread notifications.

What do you see?

At the top of the page you can switch between two tabs:

  • All — a complete overview of all your notifications, old and new.
  • Unread — only the notifications you haven't read yet. The number of unread notifications is shown with a red number.

Each notification shows what happened, which time off request it concerns and when the notification came in.

What can you do with a notification?

Each notification has two icons:

  • Checkmark — mark the notification as read.
  • Trash — permanently delete the notification.

In the top right of the page you'll find two shortcuts for bulk actions:

  • Delete read — deletes all notifications you've already read in one click.
  • Mark all as read — marks all unread notifications as read at once.

Which notifications do you receive?

You receive notifications for events such as:

  • Your time off request has been approved or declined
  • Your time off has been cancelled, by yourself or by an HR admin
  • A colleague has requested time off (if you are the reviewer)
  • A colleague wants to cancel a time off request (if you are the reviewer)
  • A sick report has been marked as long-term
