Who's away?

Who's away gives you a calendar overview of all absences in your company. You can find it via Who's away in the left menu, or via the View calendar link in the Who's away block on your Pulse.

What do you see?

The calendar shows per employee when they are absent. Each row is a colleague, each column is a day. Browse through the months using the arrows at the top, or click Today to jump back to the current date. Hover over an absence to see the exact start and end date. Click on a colleague's name to go directly to their profile.

Which absences do you see?

What you see depends on your role:

As an HR admin or Manager you can see the exact type of absence per colleague, such as Holiday, Sick leave or Training.
As an employee you'll see some absences only as Away, without further details — this is how Heartwork protects your colleagues' privacy.

Time off requests that are still waiting for approval are shown with a striped block — both for yourself and for colleagues — until an HR admin or Manager has approved the reques
